Anne King is a current student at Kankakee Community College and plans to transfer to pursue her Masters in Social Work. Anne has been married to her husband Michael for 25 years. She serves on the Board of Directors for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Illinois Chapter while also serving on their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Additionally, Anne is a member of the Governor’s Challenge Board for the State of Illinois. She is both an Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Anne and Michael have two adult children along with 3 rescued fur babies. In her free time, Anne enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, making soap, reading and gardening.
