Karla Duran Fragoso, was born and raised in Mexico City. She has a Degree in International Relations from
Universidad del Valle de Mexico. Has been living in Kankakee for the last past 3 years, working for
different industries.
Her short-term plan is getting her Master in Gender Studies. She loves writing, reading and meeting new
people. She would like to start a space to open the conversation for equity, racism and social awareness
in the LatinX community.
